Website Design Services: Shield Rep offers free website design services to qualifying small businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, landing page designs, AI chatbot integration, and website optimization.
Optional Paid Services: Shield Rep offers additional paid services, such as hosting, performance optimization, and digital marketing strategy. These services are provided on a subscription or one-time payment basis, as outlined during the consultation process.
Results-Based Compensation: For certain offers, Shield Rep agrees to a performance-based compensation model, where the client only pays if certain conditions (e.g., increased sales or leads) are met. Details of this agreement are discussed during the initial consultation and must be confirmed in writing.
3. User Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when filling out any forms or communicating with Shield Rep. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of any information provided.
Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of Shield Rep’s services.
Permitted Use: Our services are intended for small business use only. You agree not to misuse our services or use them for any unlawful or harmful purposes.
4. Payment Terms
Initial Free Service: Shield Rep offers a free website design service, contingent on approval. You are under no obligation to pay for the initial design unless you choose to move forward with our paid services.
Subscription Services: Any ongoing services such as hosting, performance optimization, or marketing strategies are provided on a subscription basis, with monthly payments due on the agreed billing date. Failure to make timely payments may result in service suspension or termination.
Payment for Results-Based Services: For results-based agreements, clients will only be charged if the agreed-upon performance metrics (e.g., sales, leads) are met. Payment terms for such services are outlined in a separate agreement and must be agreed to in writing.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations: You may cancel your services at any time by providing written notice at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. Shield Rep will cease providing services at the end of the current billing period.
Refund Policy: Refunds are not available once services have been rendered unless otherwise required by law or agreed upon in a written contract. Shield Rep will make every effort to resolve any dissatisfaction with services provided.
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Website Design: All website designs created by Shield Rep remain the property of Shield Rep until full payment for any additional services or products is received. Once payment is made, you will be granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the website.
Prohibited Use: You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit any portion of the content or designs provided by Shield Rep without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
No Liability for Damages: Shield Rep will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or services. This includes loss of profits, data, or business interruptions.
No Warranty: Shield Rep provides services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee that our services will meet your specific expectations or that they will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Termination
Termination of Services: Shield Rep reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and without prior notice, if you breach these Terms & Conditions or any other agreements in place.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all rights granted under these terms will cease immediately, and you may no longer have access to the website or services provided by Shield Rep.
9. Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws Maryland. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Maryland.
